Eddie Mendence

Eddie graduated magna cum laude from Maryville College in 2005 with a B.A. in English. He spent the first three years of his professional career at Armuchee High School in Rome, Georgia, where he taught Advanced Placement Language, journalism, and American literature. In 2008, he moved back to Maryville and began teaching honors and advanced honors English at Maryville High School. Eddie has completed two College Board-endorsed AP Summer Institute trainings at the University of Georgia and received a Distinguished Service Award in 2008 from Floyd County Schools.
