John A. Roop
John received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Tennessee in 1978 and practiced electrical engineering for 11 years. He left that profession to pursue a career in mathematics education, earning certification in Mathematics and Physics and an M.S. degree in Mathematics Education. John has taught at Maryville High School for 20 years. His teaching schedule includes AP Calculus, Geometry, and Algebra.
